Posted on October 31, 2025

Steel Realms
The Bone Field is one of the Klaurian exclusive territories of Kulim’s Expanse in North Pines.

This place is a holy place where many of their kind go to die. This location bears the Frost-Melded mark an ancient battle with the Dragon of Rhyl, where they drove it away and came to an accord with it around CY 611. Kalurian Silverpoint Artists also use bone pieces and powder from The Bone Field to create a textured effect, coating finalized artwork in pine resin from their home of North Pines to seal and stiffen it.

Beastwood Presence: This location has the presence of a typical Rhylian Beastwood; Always the presence of Epona the HORSE (“The Mother”) is venerated & the wider community may worship other deities.

This locale has a Chapter House of the Narcosan Order of Necromancers in Saltmarch. This is a well kept secret, but the necromancers have ensured that the Dead stay at rest for the Klaurians. They have also mummified some of the great warriors laid to rest that requested the eternal vigil as The Risen for their people.

It has been reported that the Order of the Black Gorgon has some association with this place.

Tea Lodge of Sheffet

Posted on October 31, 2025

Steel Realms

The Tea Lodge of Sheffet is part of the Tea Lodges of Rhyl tradition that has existed for thousands of years.

The Tea House of Sheffet has a long tradition of intrigue, rumors, whispers, and accusations but little proof, in meddling in the politics of the duchy and the promotion of women’s rights and empowerment. Of course all Tea Houses have this, but the Tea House of Sheffet in particular has been known to attract powerful nobles, adventurers, priestesses, and the like for meetings.

Defining Ideal: The Grand Duchy of Rhyl has been "The Shield of the North" in the wars of The Noble East vs. The Broken Lands for thousands of years as well as stradling the crossroads of many powers and maintaining a tense peace. The Chronicle of Rhyl shows it first as many fiefdoms of 'The Lands of Rhylan' (CY 5500's), then a united kingdom (CY 5980), then as a duchy of the High Kings' kingdom of Gladnor (CY 6514). All citizens in the north take the pledge of Rhylan the Living.

Culture: Rhylian ( 'rill', 'rillian') locales have locally flavored experiences, but unless noted, follow general Territories and Fiefdoms properties and all share Common Culture - languages, Character Experience, institutions, Law, etc.

Schan-Karr of Enthavelaugh (Rhyl)

Posted on October 10, 2025 in Steel-Realms

Steel Realms

The Schan-Karr of Enthavelaugh of the Enthavelaugh Weald is, at its foundations, a Schan-Karr of the Elven Wealds typical of the steel Realms. However, here Elves wear dark makeup and are sexualized in mannerisms & fantasy clothing and gear – it is distracting and disconcerting. Smiles and laughs are tinged with a strange wickedness. They seem quick to anger. The Schan-Karr has a unique “Bent Flower” being produced – the Fremlie Fold.

Reputation & Host to Outsiders

It is known as the “Schan-karr of the Gar-Dinuae”: Well known for the reputation of dream experiences available and a sinister reputation for drugs. Many of the nobles of Rhyl come here for ‘entertainment’. Sometimes elves participate in sexual Congress here to purge themselves of their desires or elven women go to experience a roughness or fantasy with outsiders they will not generally find among most elven males.

Drugs, drinking, and a party like no other is often endured by The Keepers of the Schan-Karr; Dark rumors persists of all manner of perverse experiences and orgies that can be bought here.

The Keepers of Schan-Karr of Enthavelaugh

Here in the Weald of the Gaur Dinuae exact their revenge on outsiders. Outsiders who pay good money for alien dream experiences and the broken and shattered dreams of life-bonded Weald members who experience the death aura of North Gate garrison in their service there. The purges of those broken emotions are then isolated in the mists of the Schan-Karr and sold as experiences to those wealthy and foolish enough to want to experience it.

This locale trains characters (elves) in the practice of the Rhylian Undead Hunters.

Dark Entity: Rumors abound that those of The Keepers of Schan-Karr of Enthavelaugh have a dark Patron within the Faith in the Weald Community of Enthavelaugh. Uorfek of the Loam, spirit of The Rimbus is sacrificed to here, in Greyfeather Lake. In addition to their role as priests, they often take this patron for a glimpse into the darker, deeper natures of others.
