The is one of the sources of The Black Gift mined by the Dwarves of Rekka-Cheq.
The material is found in a major open pit mine with several smaller pits and mines. It is dark green-black and can be polished to a high sheen.
There is gold embedded in the greenstone of the mine as well. It is a secondary and a byproduct, not found in large volumes, but enough to make it a significant source of income in supply the High King’s mint works for gold coins.
The products made from it include statuettes, jewelry, carvings, and ceremonial tools and ornaments.

The material is found in several veins near the surface. Many have been played out over time, but there is yet several being actively worked.
The products made from it include scrapers and cutters for butchers, hunters, hidesmen and leather workers, jewelry and physician tools. It is used for ornaments in mystical ceremonies and rituals for their literal and symbolic value.

Bread Basket Quarry is a large Sandstone quarry in the east Tableland plain that provides a lot of material for the maintenance of The Red MArch.

The Kalizmin Quarry is a large White Limestone quarry. While not directly on the shoreline of Lake Caolite, it is cut into the basin that forms it. There is a road that goes to Klyben that is a central hub for most of its product internal to The Grand Duchy of Rhyl; The The Kalizmin Quarry has a road to the port city of Solavia’s Landing.
The quarry dates back to the time of the Dragon of Rhyl, and was used by it.
This has become a small town over time. It services the quarry operation, and has a small community in the outlying area that makes pottery and sculptures from the limestone.
