A Riverman enclave exists in this locale of Driftmans Hollow. They are typical of their kind – close knit, insular, and professional in all their dealings. Like most, they venerate Elancil to appease the Sea-Queen and have a Shrine with an Altar for worship, but keep it out of sight to reduce any difficulties or resentments.

Driftmans Hollow is part of the shipping lanes of Sillin’s Way on the Beyne River mouth from its source in Lake Caolite. A cargo dock of only for the transfer of boats not able to navigate the Beyne River can offload to a Beyne River Skidbarge.
A massive stone rubble breakwater sits 7m high above the normal water line, protecting the area from both wind and water turbulence.

The entry point of the Beyne River from Lake Caolite is referred to as Sillin’s Way, though it was once known as Bisten’s Kick. The ‘kick’ is the acceleration on the north side of the channel experienced by navigators. Sillin’s Western Waylight lights up the entire area of Sillin’s Way at the inland end of the mouth of the Beyne River.
The south side has and angled channel used by boats going up river at Bisten’s Hook.

Traces of the Ancient Dragon are one of the common Encounters in the Grand Duchy of Rhyl. On rare occasions, an old white Dragon Scales will be found. This is most often in the Great Forest of Rhyl. Most folk keep these as fantastical trinkets, but they can be sold to private buyers though most often make their way to Quizman’s Magisterium of Klyben.
As part of areas conquered by the Dragon of Rhyl, there may be and area that is or was once Frost-Melded in some state, which attracts sight-seers, occultists, and scholars.

The Tribesfolk Ruins in the Forests and Hills of of Rhyl are a common Encounters in the Grand Duchy of Rhyl. There are still a few recognizable remains of ancient Pine Tribe Villages (“Gathered Tribes” era) that the colder climate has preserved well. Plus, the Pine Tribes here built into the crags all throughout the Forest of Rhyl – finding soft limestone easy to carve into and shape. The apogee of this practice can buy found in the mysterious Playaban ruins.
Small faerie folk and travelers, bandits and wanderers use them for shelter and have maintained them in several places – though they have no items or archaeological value at this point.
Those preserved places in and near to the Great Forest of Rhyl itself are prone to experiencing The Dreamhunt of Rhyl
