Heralds of Har Cunetha (Rhyl)

Posted on December 2, 2025 in Steel-Realms

Steel Realms

The Heralds of the Har Cunetha are not true heralds in the sense of their hard responsibilities as if they were pledged to a Knight or peer of the realm. They are more roaming representatives and agents of the powerful band of elven rangers of the Har Cunetha. The Heralds of the Har Cunetha can sometimes speak for the Green Sleeves of the Haivelaugh Weald. Although they do not normally ride with the Har Cunetha, they are considered part of the war band.

The heralds are chosen for their loyalty to the Weald, striking looks, lower voices (for an elf), ability to speak a multitude of languages, and their command of presence – the intent is to leave an unforgettable impression. There is a full record of all Heralds of the Har Cunetha in the ruins of Tell Cunetha.

Force Majeure: The elves of the Haivelaugh Weald are the most active and dynamic in The Grand Duchy of Rhyl, and have paid the price for it. They are still aggressive and prideful, but more cautious about committing their support without ensuring their own safety – necessitating the powerful and mobile Har Cunetha and the Heralds of the Har Cunetha.

  • Agents Afar: The Heralds of the Har Cunetha have the ability to send messages to the Har Cunetha upon the wind, that will find them wherever they are and carry a message back.
  • Each can sense any of the Call Stones associated with their Weald or the Har-Cunetha.
  • Each has an assistant that manages any records or supplies that are needed.
  • Each of the Heralds of the Har Cunetha has been given the ability to directly command many functions of The Vinewall – some capabilities even from outside the Haivelaugh Weald.

Sabarmati River’s Lowlands – Mouth & Bridge

Posted on December 2, 2025

Steel Realms

The Sabarmati River’s Lowlands comprise the single road and bridge, and the settlements at the river’s mouth.

Single Passage: The Sabarmati River’s Uplands is mostly silty and difficult to travel over – there is only one road over the Whitescale Bridge in the Sabarmati River’s Lowlands.

Bridge Traffic: The Whitescale Bridge spans it about .5km up from the river mouth. This area has been built up to channel the Sabarmati River Saltmarch Basin overflow back into a single channel.

River Mouth Settlements

On the north side of the Sabarmati River mouth is the ancient city of Saltmarch.

On the south side of the Sabarmati River mouth is the walled ship-building compound of Arbenants Port.

Beyond this port facility is the South Reedland Stretch.
