A spectrum which represents an entity’s progressive distance from a material manifestation it once had, to pure Aether (unmanifested completely). Paradox, Void, and various corruptive powers and effects can leech the strength of an entity’s material Presence into states less and less dependent upon the Preeminent Presence they once were. Each state represents a progressively difficult capability for Material manifestation to affect and a more vague impression of beauty/distinct appearance. Entities with a Presence of this type are susceptible to effects which leave a Spiritus type manifestation upon their true death. The farther away their Presence is from the Material or Numinous, the less likely it is for such effects to accomplish this. These entities often require, or at least desire, Eternal Repose. The Aethereal Presence Spectrum corresponds closest to combined Fiend Spark and Virtue Spark and a combinations of Elemental Sparks.

The Actuated Mind is one that exists outside of the ego and mental fortress of the typical psychic-capable entity. It has evolved and/or developed into something that is active and exposed all the time. This leaves it vulnerable to some psychic powers, but among the non-psychic ones it has significant advantages.
The Actuated Mind is a form of [Latent] psychic capability (a Focus Well is required). It allows the character to tap into Psychic Wavelengths with others. It can be developed into Psychic Articulations. This opens a character’s communication capability in one of three ways:

A character can realistically be just about any background and race allowed by the rules, limited by geolocation availability and/or cultural norms. However, many places have a society that produces a preponderance of a specific outlook and qualities that reflect an archetype or stereotype. Adopting this confers some small advantages, excludes some backgrounds and alters others – including characteristics, values and behaviors. It may also impose stat adjustments.
