Animal Handling

With Animal Handling, the character is able to ride, tame, teach, harness, and calm animals. Wild animals can be made into domesticated, domesticated can be taught complex tricks and behaviors. An attempt can be made to make domesticated animals into trained-type disciplined war animals, or bonded companion animals.

Animal Handling ability to ride a mount has a natural expression as Natural Rider.

Accomplished Activity Options: The use of a mount of a specific creature/species to Ride – based on Animal Handling.


BOUNDED: All Skills and Traits are limited indirectly by a character's Frame of Reference & direct experience; A character with Proficiency may Appraise objects, tools, and processes related to this Feature.

Craftwork: Cooking

Craftwork: Cooking. Creatures may search for, purchase, and prepare meals using the Craftwork: Cooking skill. It is also used to ensure their Digestion Sensitivity is not triggered.

This craft uses common principles of Consumables Crafting.

All crafting and artisanry using this skill follows the typical Tradecraft Practices (including Specialization). Craftwork uses some form of Utility (Toolkits and Work Stations) to fabricate items. This skill practice has a specific Vocational/Trade/Craft Toolkit associated with it to create and maintain related processes, products, and items that reflects the technology level and environmental & cultural norms of the setting.
