[ Feature Impact ] > Positive
Req/Limit: Must be taken at Character Inception
The character is favored by Fortuna, Lady Luck, etc. Whenever there is a roll/check to see if a random outcome is positive for the PC, it is made with Advantage, OR a single “+” or “-” 1 (or unit of value used) on a check. This includes activities that the PC is leading for their group as well – i.e. scouting and the like. It includes things such as a check to see if the PC avoids getting lost, bypasses an encounter, etc. The point is to reduce the danger to the character’s progress as they go through locales and make decisions.
Note that this can have a negative impact in that certain encounters would be avoided which may be dangerous but provide access to knowledge, items, or experience. It cannot be ‘turned off’ in any way, it is reflective of how their Essence is placed in The Pattern.

Sleight of Hand.Accomplished Activity: Juggling, Pick Pocket, Game Trick (dice, cards, etc.), Palm Object
Sleight of hand can be used to hide what you are doing – such as picking pockets, palming an object (card tricks, etc.). It does not take this still to effectively hide something, but if you wish to hide an object on someone it grants knowledge of the best places that will be missed by a pat-down – places where clothing and culture may allow a refuge of deceit.

Lores and Social type Non-Combat Activity have documented options; These and others will be noted under their description. Items can be used as props or may have actual properties or effects that impact the activity either incidentally or by specific purpose.
Some activities may require Utility and will be noted.

Inhibited Healing is when the character’s entire system has its natural restorative capabilities hindered or impaired. It is assessed in Measures; Unless noted, these measures are not cumulative. Measures of Accelerated Healing and Inhibited Healing offset each other. Sources of Inhibited Healing include Malaise Damage, Disease/Illness, Toxins/Poisons (natural or by Abolition Reagents), Infection and mystical effects.

Frame of Reference: All Skills are bound by the character's Setting (physics), and the details that their culture/society's Science (gathered by Technology), direct experience, and/or collective Records are capable of revealing. A character may not be able to apply their full measure on a different world, with different species and tools. With a common frame of reference, multiple specific Lores can stack.
