Common advice about actions of all types. Remember that each encounter is a new opportunity to role-play and create moments you will remember. Measures of Activity determines how many and what types of actions it takes to accomplish a task.
When performing certain types of activity, if it can be accomplished using any of the character’s Action, Bonus Action or Reaction, it is referred to as an “Open Action” activity. Few things rely on Open Actions.
The standard hierarchy of d20 activity is Action > Bonus Action > Reaction. Some circumstances rely on multiple measures of activity; If they required Action Type is not available, the activity cannot be performed.

Insight is a penetrating glimpse or connection into the unfolding of The Pattern – usually through some ability and/or power. Most measures of insight are temporary – gone forever when used.
