Disadvantage
: This is an indicator that the check for outcome gains a negative Disadvantage. Disadvantage is not a direct impairment of the specific odds of any given action, but rather an attempt to recast the opportunity by making another check and taking the worst result. Multiple instances do not stack, but do negate multiple sources of Advantage. A direct penalty or Result Shift that modifies the odds of success is usually worse than Disadvantage.
