A Simple Outcome is the most basic of success in an activity, achieving the lowest results on the scale of Positive Outcomes & considered a target for what is commonly assessed as Easy Difficulty activities.
Several things can be done to improve the chance and/or degree of a positive outcome, such as: high Attributes & contextual/situational adjustments (ex: Steady Aim for combat).
Amount or damage done on an attack or effect is average by dice, with bonuses added after; If base damage or amount is noted as “2d6”, then 7 (avg. 3 & 4 with 2 dice) is the amount assessed.
