The The Bread Barges of Soriano are technically sailcraft, not a barge. However, they are wide and stable, slow moving but ensure a continuous safe flow of the bread of The Wheat Fields of Elmond’s Shire and other smaller areas. These sail primarily to the City of Redmark at the start of The Red March – their ultimate destination to feed those fighting on The Autumn Wall.
The Eel-Home of Suhsael Clan of Lizardfolk living in Shelfers Cradle have a special shallow place for the Bread Barges of Soriano to be serviced in case they are damaged in a storm or need to get out of a storm’s way. The lizard folk do not have much care for bread of any kind, and are considered safe shepherds and allies of any of these supply ships.

The Haredson family of Elmond’s Shire has ruled this small, fertile tract of land for as long as anyone can remember. Free of machinations of expansion or politics, they are respected and deeply linked to the faith of the grain goddess of Isis (maintaining an active shrine for millennium).
Rulership/Governance: {Integrity ****} (knighted) Haredson family; Sir Stephenal
Population: Approx. 410 humans
Unlike most of the dozen or so hamlets or farm steading governed by Yeoman farmers, these especially fertile lands are governed by the Haredson family; Like the other grain farms, they are mostly uncharacteristically free of corruption and crime due to them being a direct source of food for The Autumn Wall.

Elmond’s End is the seat of baronial power of the Tremblient Baronial family which loosely rules over the non city lands of Elmond’s Shire.
The Tremblient baronial family of Elmond’s End has ruled the important agricultural lands of The Wheat Fields of Elmond’s Shire for the last several hundred years, after the Ofstenson family was ended with sickness (and potential assassination of the last heir) and a minor war broke out between cavalier branches and few knights of the region. The instability was affecting the food supply. The High King decreed that one of the families that had stayed out and made no claims was given the baronial title.
The seat of power
All Yeoman families of the region since the creation of The Autumn Wall have taken to patronizing the sect of Quick Reference: Isis (the grain ‘goddess’) that took root here in CY 6840 and has had an altar in the baronial family chapel and several smaller shrines with which to travel the area safely in.
