Spiritual Presence

A Spirit is merely an echo of an entity that once was – it no longer has Essence and is not tied to the Aether. Like Illusion, it cannot directly physically interact, though can play on the mental state/sanity of a target. A Spiritual Presence is an echo of a specific entity – it has access only to “real memories” the source entity may have experienced, not the Free Memories of the Aether. Powers manifested by Spiritual Presence’s are accomplished through the aspect of Semblance. Existing Spiritual Entities never leave a Spiritus manifestation upon their true death. These entities often require, or at least desire, Eternal Repose.
Threshold: A Material Presence cannot normally see a spiritual one. Spiritual Presence’s have a threshold over which they become perceptible. This is not true of Entities with a Presence which has left a Spiritus manifestation upon the event of their true death.
Appearance: The manifestation of such a presence becomes vague, and less distinct. It loses or has 4 less maximum levels of appearance/beauty that is impactful.

Numinous Presence

A Numinous Presence represents a powerful transcendent anima entity Presence from The Aether. These have the power of a demiurge within their domain. Numinous Presence’s by their nature possesses Quintessence. A Numinous Presence can control entities of Spiritual Presence (such as Spiritus and Murkenshade) and has access to its own memories, Free Memories, and can make new ones as well that persist beyond their current manifestation. Entities with a Presence of this type are susceptible to effects which leave a Spiritus type manifestation upon their true death. The Numinous Presence corresponds closest to the All Spark.

A phantasmal Presence has a greater tie to its material manifestation over the formless Aether, decreasing or negating effects that target them. Spark: All but Tainted; the all-spark which it may use to pass on its own powers to others. Entities with a Presence of this type are susceptible to effects which leave a Spiritus type manifestation upon their true death. The farther away their Presence is from the Material or Numinous, the less likely it is for such effects to accomplish this. These entities often require, or at least desire, Eternal Repose.

Ghostly Presence

A ghostly Presence has a powerful tie to the formless Aether, decreasing or negating effects targeting them. The material world can barely affect a presence of this type. Entities with a Presence of this type are susceptible to effects which leave a Spiritus type manifestation upon their true death. The farther away their Presence is from the Material or Numinous, the less likely it is for such effects to accomplish this. These entities often require, or at least desire, Eternal Repose.

D20 Ghostly Presence Mechanics
They gain immunity to non magical physical attacks (bludgeon/pierce/slash) and damage. They have resistance to all magical forms of damage (acid, cold, fire, lightning, thunder, etc.). They cannot be paralyzed, petrified, diseased, or poisoned. Physical grappling, restraint, unconsciousness, or knocking prone all have no impact on the presence. Sources of damage which themselves are Ghostly cause harm normally. Phantasmal sources of damage reduce immunity to resistance, and resistance to normal effects.

Material Presence

The Material Presence is the Essential Presence of the Incarna multiverse. Spark: Principle, Beast, Sprout, Elemental / Vestigial only w/Bond [Trait]. Entities with a Presence of this type are susceptible to effects which leave a Spiritus type manifestation upon their true death. The manifested shell/form of creatures may be bound by The Form Beyond . The Material Presence corresponds closest to combined Beast Spark and Sprout Spark and a combinations of Elemental Sparks.
