The Rift Valleys (Northgreens / Karolak)

The area south of the ridge that bounds the northern edge of the The Northgreens of Karolak is many Rift Valleys in it. These generally run north-south. These have large deposits of potash fertilizer that are mined and shipped out through the city of Karolak.

Finway Ridge of _ is a raised set of sharp upthrust hills in __ – northern territory claimed by the city of Karolak. It gets its name by resembling a set of dorsal fins coming up out of the water. It is a distinct feature of the area, and a well known landmark associated with Merchant Cities of the North. While it is not ‘sacred’ in any sense, it is seen as a place where the land and sea cultures of Karolak meet. There are many religious ceremonies of Elancil and others of The Grey Way held here.
