The Military of North Gate Garrison
The Military of North Gate Garrison operates the entire length of The Autumn Wall, sending those who took the oath, because All Must Serve! It is not technically considered part of the chain of Pacification Garrisons the High King maintains.
Perils of Service: Sanity, Disease, Corruption
Standing Army & Disposition: The High King’s army is the primary source of permanent military presence. This consists of 200 messenger riders, 50 light cavalry, 300 heavy cavalry, 2500 Irregulars, 800 heavy infantry. There always members of various Knightly Orders with their retinues, along with representatives of the many faiths. An additional 40-50 irregulars have a barracks as part of the World Watchers services.
The various faiths represented at The Autumn Wall and the Rhylander Green Conjurists organize most of the Recovery Operations at North Gate Garrison to ensure evil auras, curses, taints and corruptions don’t enter the ranks of those serving or the lands behind the wall.
