The Tree-Walkers of Ynth are the elite elven rangers of the elven land of Ynth.
Agents of Vengeance: They became the instrument of revenge after CY 5000 when the Balefire wielded by Sun Stealer and his horde of demons and orks burned the southern edge of Ynth. They hunted anything Orrish or of mixed ORrish blood – no mercy, and with extreme violence. The Tree-Walkers of Ynth were some of the original protectors of the Tower Lands region as it was being reclaimed.
Agents of HEaling They protected those who coaxed the roots of the trees to grow to the edge of the abyssal so they could detect the orrish coming up, tunneling, etc. driving minor demons they could control, survivors looking for revenge who had turned to the dark…twisted darklings – now they are ambushed long before they come up, or the roots are coaxed to attack the orrish and crush the life from them deep in the earth. Towers are not needed on the north side.
