The Reclamation of the Wyld is an effort to remove magical blights upon the land of the realms, such as those created by Change Storms/God Storms. So much the lands outside the cradle of the north has been ravaged by dark powers, sorcery, or time. Especially in the south, where the old empire of Synedcia was blasted away by the fury of demons through the power of Bale Fire, summoned by Sun Stealer, a long process of reclamation is happening. It involves purification of the land and years of vigilance, hard work and prayer. Although magical powers have been shown to be able to accomplish the same effect, they rarely last. The Green Church is the most active power aiding all races in reclamation in the south. Their faith provides healing for the land in ways the light-bringers cannot, and the success rate is nearly double that of the church of Aerna.
The Office of Reclamation: The Office of Reclamation is founded and run from the city of Beryl. In recent times, the church of Aerna has begun reclamation projects in the north, north of Blood River, to push back the endless winter the Lich Lords pushed into the lands all the way to the city of Thurlow. Official offices (shrines and supply depots) are located in:
The Search: The World Watchers are always on the lookout for more blighted places to engage the Reclamation of the Wyld, especially after The Sundering.
Bale Fire Eater: When necessary, to remove the worst of the effects (though it has not been employed in recent times), the power of Mog Creoch – the great devourer – is used to consume the Bale Fire. Only the Davrosian Order of druids can control the great devourer to accomplish this. It is thought that similar rites are used (though different powers summoned) in The Spirit-Wind of the North.

CY 9185, Month 3 Athoz the half giant Wight- his real identity long forgotten, led forces affected by the The Blood Sky over The North for the Lich Lords; He was subsumed by his desire to wreak revenge upon the living that walled him in his grave alive. He was tracked and attacked repeatedly, and was harried across the countryside. He left a wake of poisoned ichor behind him. It will take the Reclamation of the Wyld offices hundreds of years to heal the soil, water, and crops it destroyed.
