Aergash Northguild (Merchant Cities Mercenary Guild)

The Aergash Northguild operates out of the Merchant Cities of the North. They also hold bonds and payments for the Merchant Marine of Karolak and some smaller bands in Rhyl.
Bonded mercenaries of Callunadje Mercenary guild and the Merchant Cities companies (Aergash Northguild and Duergash Southguild) are typically taught spoken and literacy in Mercat.
Surety Services: Like all Mercenary Guilds, Aergash Northguild are bond holders for Bonded Bands. They are not obligated to provide healing or rest, open training facilities, borrow money or any of the things the guilds normally do – only provide the surety and logistics for the bond.

These gentle souls were mostly silent; they were an enigmatic order that used harps and lutes to communicate but rarely with words. They were charged with always being on the move, and were known foremost for generosity to commoners (food and drink and sharing a warm fire). They were also a favorite traveling companion to Bards of the Realm.

Pledge Makers of the Frost Born

The Pledge Makers of the Frost Born are a knightly order of the Steel Realms which metes justice and attempts to represent the High King’s rule of law in the north. Nominally an “order” though they have little hierarchy or formal practices.
Their primary goal is to serve the frontier lords of Kaald and fight against the unending horde of the undead. They seek to try and regain trust of the northerners by honoring the pledge of aid that should have been honored before the north fell.
Their own prophecies say that when enough of the Pledge Makers die, that the pact will be re-sealed and held fulfilled, and that from their ranks will arise a great and wise warrior-knight who will unite the north and the High King once again.
