Hidden Knowledge > The Druunad of the Steel Realms are a mostly vanished race, long past their prime and relegated to a few pockets of stable population that are hidden from outsiders. The History of the Druunad is one of mystery – they have worked to remove themselves from recorded history (their own history is almost unknown to outsiders or even their own people in many cases) and are portrayed as primitive. They are not generally a playable race. The fate of the Amenti-Epyp and Druunad are intertwined by the awakened actions of Spiritus Helca itself. Awakened (Spiritus) Helca guided the evolution of the three indigenous races in different ways.
Druunad: They were guided to be contained and content with themselves, to be self aware and peer inwards to develop for its own sake rather than as a result of competition.
Amenti-Epyp: They were guided to thrive and exceed only through conflict from without to unify themselves. Their advancement was tied to conflict with their counterparts – the Druunad.
Nakrians They were guided to thrive against themselves. They needed no external enemy – they were their own worst.
The original “gods” of the people were the Elemental Consorts of the Wyld, awoken from deep within the planet. The magic that gave birth to them, triggered a faster awakening of Helca itself. The Druunad were also responsible for separating their dual aspects, in order to isolate and repress the male aspect that was chaotic, and more consistently direct the ordered female aspects.
The true nature of The Seven Sisters was known only by the Druunad, seven entities from the stars orbit the world for a hundred years as seven points of light in the sky while they assist in the second phase of the awakening Helca and teaching it even further. “The Seven Hathori” are all that is known in Druunad records, only the woke planet itself knows more.

THE DRUUNAD STILL POSSESS SPACESHIPS. These are powered down, and buried in the collapsed western hills of Dunstrand, underwater now as Scar Flow in a star port called Eir. Only the elders of the people know about this. The instructions for accessing them are stored within the Red Oracle – Kept within a sacred tablet that is an elemental in their most sacred and hidden shrine in the Fertile Crescent.
