Soul Reaver (Lord of the Winter Host)

Steel Realms
Lich Lords
Soul Reaver is slender, tall and gaunt and missing his left eye. It is said his shadow is three times as long as any normal man’s, and freezes everything it covers. He wears one of the ancient crown of the northern kings and is thought to be the leader of the five at times. He is the sunderer, the breaker – all things must collapse under the Corrupting Gaze he wields.

Those of purpose, beyond the concerns of the flesh follow the “Way of Berok”; He is also called the Shadow Tamer and it is whispered he comports with forces of the void. He is a master of Empowered Marks and Sigilry, being the one who made all the Reavers Axe’s.

The Cleaver of Souls, The Night Reaper

His banner reads (in Feyloise): “Will Beyond Death” and has the outline of a man, with the shadow having a red heart.

Chronicle of The Lord

Decade of Dead Leaves: The fall of Doget’s Burial to Soul Reaver‘s forces precipitated the “decade of dead leaves” – about 13 years (CY 8817 – 8830) of serious loss (100,000+) as the area was inundated with the Lich Lords armies as they tried to flank North Gate Garrison.

Dunstrand Rising Living World

Set in Grand Duchy of Dunstrand in the Steel Realms of the [Fantasy] Steel Realms, as a Living World storyline.

Death of Zoras: CY 9168 > When Zoras The Despoiler died, half the ghouls soldiers of the Crystal Riders of Thedrosse were “loosed” from their bonds of The Cold Bargain. They killed many, but Theodrose himself and his riders tracked and killed every last one and their progeny with other orders of knights and the Chain Brothers of the north. Elsewhere, about 10% of the armies of the Lich Lords were lost when these fetters were cut.
