She was half Ducateon and half Elven, an offspring wanted by no one and rejected by all. Many rumors and whispered tales abound about her origins.

All of Evelyn Ashenthorn‘s swords were one handed, she never crafted large ones. All of them were marked with a dark red teardrop shape – her mark of the Blade Bleeder.

Uncommon Knowledge / Average Difficulty

None of her blades are known to have survived The Fall of the East. None were ever seen again – even in the hands of Orrish raiders from The Dark Lands. A few may have survived the Fall of Dundaria, but are deep within the domain of the Lich Lords now.

A smithy possessed of unsettling calm. She looked into the abyss but did not flinch. Despite several horrible burn marks on her, she was never seen to blink or flinch in her craft – her doc is was razor sharp.

Scarce Knowledge / Hard Difficulty

Its been assessed that she actually grew up in old Orrishai before they invaded the east; She was likely raped, tortured, and starved. It explains a lot about her approach to her craft.

She had a name she gave each of her works – a name only she knew, a ‘true name’ as she referred to it as.

There were rumors that she made a blade quenched in Balefire – she commissioned a group to raid the temples of Sun Stealer in Orrishai!

Rare Knowledge / Very Hard Difficulty

She made three blades quenched in Balefire – The Ashenblades. Dumahr, Palfire, and Koridgue.

Her ultimate fate was death. She was forced to make a masterpiece for a general of Sun Stealer and she demanded Balefire for its creation. In the quench, she drank some of the Balefire, and quenched the blade and went on a rampage, killing hundreds – goblins & orks – before being killed by the Balefire consuming her from the inside out.
