Awakened Path (Saelisnean Ritual)

The ritual of the Awakened Path requires a council of Landsmen to approve and allow one of the Speakers of Thoth or Anubis to lead the ritual.

Preparation: It requires the perspective gained through the Cultural Experience of The Saelish. The character must learn to reflect and ponder this through Meditation (1 minimum) and have developed as a person to a certain degree of maturity.

Faith: A Conviction (cultural faith) with the Celestines, for 1 [sacrificed] Essence.

The Awakening

Once they have achieved the requisite maturity, they may spend a Long Rest in ritual Meditation to attempt to unlock/achieve an Actuated Mind. At the end of the Long Rest, the character must look deep into themselves for the ancient roots of their Cultural Insight. If they succeed, they gain the Actuated Mind feature; If they fail, they must gain experience and perspective before they can make another check. It typically takes about 200 silvers in materials as part of the Ritual. The participant does not gain any capability of re-enacting the ritual, only the Speaker who lead it can do that, specifically they trigger a moment of Actuated Awareness.
