Lesser Attunement (1 Essence)

This item requires simple Attunement and must be worn for its capabilities to be used.

Crystal of Memory: The ring has embedded crystals around it that are missing several. Pen made using one as a tip (150sc to cut) what is written using Scholarly Discipline is kept within the ring in optical storage. Can hold essentially 10 million pages. Each crystal is 100k pages, there are 22 left. Whenever a new person attunes to it, it wipes all data.

Hidden in Plain View: Although it can be perceived using normal senses, it is only detectable using mystical means by those of Orrish blood or Urvor himself.

Bastion of the Mind: While attuned and wearing this ring, your your thoughts cannot be read spoken lies cannot be assessed, your Code of Conduct and any eleents of your Aura cannot be perceived. Telepathic communication is only allowed with you only if you allow it. Lastly, upon death your memories are held in the ring. Held memories are accessible if the holder of the ring friendly to bound memory source, but cannot be attuned without destroying them.

Scholar’s Patch-Making: It has minor magics to repair books.

Scholarly Discipline: Copy a text at double speed.

Scholar’s Insight: Letters within 5m appear to glow so can read in dark. Formulaes for spells become available for the wielder to use that assist in scholarly works. There were once 2 such spells known to be attached to the ring that were only available to the bound apprentice of Urvor. His master ring was long ago destroyed when he died and these no longer function – though it is latent magic that can be perceived.

Mana Receptacle: The ring can be charged as a Anima Receptacle with 5 Mana by the wielder. One per day can be added until 5 days have passed, at which point the wielder is down 5 Mana which returns at their normal rate that point.

Bastion of the Mind: Powers of a Ring of Mind Shielding.

Scholar’s Patch-Making: Mending cantrip 3/day on a book, parchment, map or scroll. The crystals of Memory can be wiped clear by a spell caster casting the Mend Cantrip upon it, and it removes the cantrip capability from the caster permanently (unless they re-learn it later as part of an additional cantrip).

Scholar’s Insight: 1/Day, regained after a Short Rest: Comprehend Languages, Detect Magic, Illusory Script
