A training regimen is a conditioning routine that allows the character to shift the emphasis on their physical Attributes. Conditioning is a set of exercises that energize physical health, bringing clarity and a focused, honed edge to skills and powers. This usually involves clearing the mind, correct breathing, concentration, and prolonged discipline. Regimens can only be practiced for benefit during a time when the practitioner is Unfettered (or only using specific tools to gain the regimen) and fresh. A character must begin their regimen undamaged/”Hale“, staying this way for the entire training duration.
The Game Master, Setting (knowledge and technology), and/or story elements will determine what is relevant and/or appropriate by species, physiology, and/or culture. A character can only benefit from a single regimen at one time.
Common Requirements: Kinetic Aptitude 1; Requires appropriate safe workout space, tools and exercises at a cost (not including costs for workout area); Standard conditioning requires a character to spend an amount of dedicated time (each day) to physically apply the workout. This is done for X time at full health, for as long as Y upkeep is maintained, you enjoy Z benefit(s).
A character may use a Character Weave to start the process of the regimen’s shift immediately and is achieved after a single Long Rest Cycle, if it has been achieved before through prolonged means.
Each Regimen grants the character the ability to drop one Attribute value to increase a specific emphasized one; It also temporarily provides Advantage on Athletic and Acrobatic type checks made with the emphasized Attribute.
