After the Disaster at Dwindor, the Hweran Clan of Lizardfolk had increased their stability and power against the encroaching troglodytes through their association with The Gallants and the dragon, even some aid in the quest to bring Mendollin low.

They watched the reorganization and rebuilding of Dunstrand happen after the Disaster at Dwindor, trying to be seen to be counted without being given responsibility. They gained some additional rights on the Hoolip Coast and Wonald Delata.

The Hweran Clan of Lizardfolk to take advantage of the increased their stability and power they gained in the Disaster at Dwindor. They decided to get rid of Tulin’s Blade that might drive the spirit of the Green One away, and took it to reunite it with the descendants of The Gallants (as they saw it); They went to the druids of Pranin Moorswood to seek their advice. Baring their influence, they planned to simply sink it in the deepest place in Sabin Bay. The druids scried Asil, and noted Urkuz – one of the folk, fostered by him, among his crew.
