Gnaefor Ridge
The Gnaefor Ridge is a tall sheer cliff face and dry stone plateau at the top – a ridge line that was a natural break, dividing the area of the barony in half.. Its about 200 feet tall and 400 feet wide. It also has a sheer drop into the edge of Calibans Slurry on the north/northeast side. From it, Dorgal Ridge in the slurry is easy to see – though often encased in fog. There is a raised area on the side that overlooks to the south the Gnaefor Stretch (between the Murchart River and Calibans Slurry). At the top of it once stood Helmandi Keep – the source of military power for Umbak in the region.
