The Entities of Light – the Lightbringer.
The modern age is heavily defined by the clash of faiths in the “Affray of Darkness and Light” in which the gods play a significant part.
Although the Amarata is not official outside of Umbak, many of its principles and teachings find their way into the shared litany of The Church of Light through The Houthas.

The Dwarven Enclave of Redlaen is built into the low hills of Audbrey Dale/Black Tern Ridge, carved out of them directly with the area in front covered slightly by a massive overhang typical of an enclave Settlements of the dwarves. The town of Hillsbend is scattered outside of its walls, about 100m from the walls of the enclave. Not far off is the ruins of Raed River Fortress, buried and sealed by the Dwarves of the Steel Realms. Outsiders are not permitted without escort, though carefully monitored tours can be arranged. Otherwise, the town of Hillsbend has accommodations and a museum with their history in the region on display.
Population: 2000 adult dwarves (200-300 safeguarded children?); 200 non-dwarves
– The population is currently rebuilding from an illness that killed over 1/3 over 20 year; normally 3000?
Rulership: Chief Heidal Maxxor, the Lady of the Blue
Primary Product: Labradorite Blue Granite, grade A tin, Redlaen Tunnelite – a form of Tunnelite thought to be the product of old Bronzefolk magics and the use of powdered labradorite dust. Stonecutters/miners for hire.
The legendary forges and anvils of the Aechsdaug smithy. Hammers of beaten Tunnelite making metal items infused with the dust. The “Master of Forges” is the majordomo of the forgeworks. All scheduling, orders, and drop off/pickup of materials rom these forges is handled by whoever is in this role.
Institution: {inst-name} > Primary Services Secondary Services
Type:What you Notice (on arriving): The town is laid out on a strict grid system. It is clean and bustling. The buildings are mostly made of stone, at least the ground level, and whitewashed. Everything looks well organized. The backdrop is the walled dwarven enclave of Redlaen, cut into the hillside. A massive overhang stretches 30m out above the top of a 10m curtain wall with a gate, almost casting the town in its shadow.
Hospitalities: Sex Services, Inn, Tavern, B&B
Greater Sovereignty
Governance: Mayor & a trade council
Population: 1000 humans + 120 dwarves; 80-200 transient/season workers + military
Defenses: 20 Soldiers (foot), 10 Soldiers (cavalry), 20 Irregulars (scout/skirmisher), 80 Militia can be raised
Groups: Trade Council, Wren's Merchant House, Redlaen Guild of Miners and Stone Cutters (for hire); NO CRIMINAL ORGs
Commerce: Marble, terracotta, coal, rye, tin
Museum of Hillsbend: Far a small fee, there is a museum with the pervasive history of the settlement and forges on display. Many of the Notable Ruins (of The Saelish) were originally made with the help of the dwarves of Redlaen, which is why they still stand. A careful eye will easily notice that the population of the dwarves is likely to be double what is publicly facing.
Emishkir Family: One of the three best stonemasons of the enclave. Dorn Emiskir was the famous possessor of Dorn’s Fist.

A typical Elven Weald. The “home” of the Ghauvelah clan is in this western reach. They prefer to associate and have dealings with the folk of The Saelish over those of county Faer, and so the official (its hard to know for certain) declaration of it is in the western side of the Gold Leaf Forest.
Characters with their origins here have the Wyld Elf of the Weald Experience available to them.
Those entities Flora Bound to the Wealds have access to the powers described under the Common Amesha Element of the Wealds of the elven faith of the Steel Realms.
