Cerran’s Grant (Quasi-Riverdan)

Steel Realms
Cerran’s Grant was originally created as a shared resource for the Riverdans after the Nanford River changed course, it is known as the most corrupt fiefdom of Dunstrand. Most of the Riverdans lost access to cross the river, the rivr became their northern boundary at best. The council placed in charge of trade, access, and dividing proceeds is known to be puppets of the Twin River Council of East and West River Run counties. Cerran’s Grant is a territory nominally held for the River Lords as a way to keep their promised power of the Nanford River – but now that the river ran through it after changing course its controlled by East River Run (through its puppet arm of the Twin River Council).

The Red Hands – Criminal Organizations of Cerrans Grant

Collectively, the four brotherhoods of thieves and smugglers is known as The Red Hands. The Red Hands have divided up the territory, and vie for control in mostly non-lethal confrontations all over it. All four are present in the capital of Cerran’s Grant, Rumein, in the south. Traditionally there were 3 until about CY 9024, when a new faction appeared in the northeast – an oft ignored location. It is rumored that the four manage an ancient tradition of fighting pits out of several locations. The leader of the four organizations consider themselves a type of underground nobility – to be accorded a title and deferment in accordance with it, though it is not familial or passed on by blood in any way.
