History

No one remembers or uses last names – those old identities are gone. You have forgotten any initial name given to you by your parents.

Imperium Origins

Vaydorin was taken on a Neogin slaver raid on a transport ship on its way to the ring station of Kalmukh in the Hekreif-Meraht System. He was born to terraformer parents. Although young when taken, he had just acquired his initial genetic programming booster. He had just affirmed to engineers his commitment to the group and project of the coming effort, continuing his parents work to assist the Tapethian peoples in settling/forming a newly discovered system.

Confusion has reigned for most of your life. Seeking an outlet for the genetic programming, you at first bonded with your captors like a Stockholm syndrome. However, you have transferred this to the group of foundlings you find yourself working alongside to repair a metal vessel that was your home. They have allowed you to have remained calm deep inside, despite the chaos outside… Here on a planet called Helca. Most of your peers follow some sort of water based divinity or power – and so you have embraced all of this yourself, as your programming dictates. Kaerslein the elemental Lady of water, Ashkoos the Prince of Water, and Elancil the goddess of the sea and storms.


North Revealed: The Fate of Asil – A Shared Experience of the ORIGINAL ‘foundling’ campaign characters of the North Revealed campaign; How Asil escaped Dunstrand and his ultimate fate of death on the water.

The characters share the same experience (North Revealed: The Soul Scourge) in regard to The Soul Scourge of Gruxxand the Necromancer. It is a recurring shared experience of a strange astral ship and crew over and over, with the Eorthna named Binnu-Burr of the foundlings imprinting it. She has done this over and over for years, even on the ones that did not directly experience it, so that it is a defining moment in all their lives.

Shared Campaign Experience – Theme/symbolism of water. The entire {original} group of PCs is bound in their adoption of the gods, goddesses, and elemental ideals of water and what they represent. Additionally, they share a common background of Sailor.

North Revealed: The Reckoning – A Shared Experience of the ORIGINAL campaign characters of The North Revealed campaign wherein the character resolve their fate on the world of Helca within the greater Imperium setting and its technology.

Favored/Spirit Animal Story: The raven has follows my character around since he was a boy, cawing and making noise when he was doing something dangerous, and kept him out of life threatening troubles as he was little. The raven has been named watcher because that’s what he has always done for my character.

You know not what, but a powerful mystic force has slammed into everyone – finding you wherever you may be; In bed, in the street, asleep, eating, working or in the midst of romance. CHARACTER BUILD CONVERSATION

Do you have a character concept you were thinking of for the next character? I have a list of several integrated character ideas i will try and match with (it looks like we are going in that direction). Im not giving the list out to everyone because i want things to remain a surprise for a while. All the character concepts i’ve outlined have mechanisms to be viable, despite some of their strange appearances and traits (which make for RP opportunities). no worries, lots of time. you can also tell me a couple aspects… magic vs physical, human vs, non, savage vs, civilized, etc.

without giving too much away, the eorthna is a empath – some psychic abilities, lizard folk is more of a fighter or ranger (non spell caster), a tarmysian human natural linguist, a stoic off world part human (looks human) that is a cold stoic fighter, the tarmysian can be a rogue or fighter

the off world species all have some resistance vs poison, disease and slightly better healing rate

ok, name? and rogue or fighter? These models of human are sturdy, if you commit to a pure multiclass (Split Class) of both, you have to alternate your levels every level gain, but get something extra (but are obviously equally dividing the levels) – if the later, what is your starting class. if you want the split class option, you can see it here: https://incarna.net/feature/experience/story/paths/committed/

I feel like the benefit of the max health should be in the split instead of the single class..

well, its not. the max health is in the narrow commitment; you can go either route though.

I think i want to go full split class. I just don’t know if I want rouge then fighter or fighter then rouge. I’ll think on it and do som reading

With https://incarna.net/feature/experience/background/sailor/, each person should pick a role/position of accomplished activity. It does not mean you are a pro, but it is essentially where you focused most of your experience on.

AND… Think of an animal you would like to be your “spirit animal”. This is more symbolic of personal meaning – not your faith. Write up a brief 2-3 sentence story that describes the event that it came to have meaning for you in. For instance, “When I was a child, and one of my friends had gotten lost playing, a crow came to me. It kept cawing until I tried to shoo it away with rocks, always flying off in the same direction. I realized it was trying to get me to follow it, and it led me to Timmy, trapped in a well.” The only provision is the animal should be common, mouse sized or larger, not an insect, and it should not be a water breathing /dwelling one.
