Druids of the Wyld

Steel Realms
Druids of the Wyld support the tenets in the Oath of the Day Watch. This group is instrumental in the project of Reclaiming the Wyld. Druids operating in a Circle of Authority are known to be able to draw upon elements of the Vexation of Nature. They are Shepard’s and protectors and allies of the Wylde Horde. The Druids of the Wyld Faith are guardians of the sacred spaces – Briarwoods and Beastwoods. These are also fortifications for them and the Wylde Horde. They gain benefits when in the great Forests of the Navels of the Wylden.

The Druids of the Wyld and the Faerie Hidesmiths within their Weald both have an ability to make natural armaments that are known as Wylde Quality

The Fellowship of the Green Chain are NOT part of the collection of the Druids of the Wyld – they exist as independent operators and have no interaction with the Green Church/Wyld Faith.

Druids of the Wyld in their Briarwoods are often in contact with rangers who have settled nearby. “Those Who Range“, despite the fact that they range far, they often have a place where they call home. Where the people and animals know them and accept them and they can find refuge guaranteed. While they do not spy upon them, the Druids of the Wyld will receive messages from animal or earth spirits when senior Rangers return home in case they are needed to be summoned by the druids.

Home in the Wylds

All druids have a place where they are particularly bound to known as their Home Sphere. For those beginning in the path, it is usually the place where they were trained or came into their power. The sphere can be any size, up to a few mile radius. Within this sphere of influence, they gain minor advantages that assist them in maintaining the area and keeping it safe. If they travel beyond this, they are known as a “leaf in the wind”.
