Fellowship of the Blue Chain
The Fellowship of the Blue Chain is a Chain Masters of the North institution assisting in the defense and governance of the Chainland Confederacy in the north.
The Exception to Prohibition: The sole exception to the prohibition of Practice of Sorcery from the Purge of the Hidden (CY 5009 to 5311) in the Steel Realms is the Fellowship of the Blue Chain in the northern Chainland Confederacy. This has led a few sorcerers who are self trained to use the order’s trappings as a disguise. The order does not care, they maintain good enough relations in the lands they dwell in directly, and see no reason to help outsiders resolve these attempts.
They are an loose (still holding true to the Freelander Way principles) order of Magi (Sorcerers) with no allegiance to anyone but themselves and the preservation of their knowledge and practices serving to govern a large area of the Chainland Confederacy.
The Fellowship of the Blue Chain leverages the triggers of Actuated Awareness to have a way of using Vigilite to detect and find others with similar aptitude.
The sorcerers in the Chain Lands (the Fellowship of the Blue Chain) found something that protected them from the effects of the Primal Cycle of Fear.
