Aqualauria Tree (The Wyldes)
Aqualauria Trees are only found in copse’s in The Wyldes in the region of __. The tribesfolk drill or burn a hole with a heated metal rod. A fungus mixed with water is inserted. The tree produces a dark resin against the fungus infection, turning the area affected all around it dark chocolate brown. The tree is then harvested and dried after the inner wood is transformed in a process that takes 10-20 years. The dark gnarled wood is sold as Witchwood for powerful medicine, incense, and intoxicating perfume.
Getting Witchwood Out of The Wyldes
Very little Witchwood material leaves the Northern Heartlands. Some Witchwood material moves through the Freelands and to The North Merchant Cities. The renowned Witchwood Parties in Karolak are really orgies for the rich and powerful. In The Grand Duchy of Rhyl, agents of the Tea Lodges of Rhyl gains some of the Witchwood harvest each year to enhance their… powers of persuasion.
