“The Gloomspine”
When the sun rises in the east, over the Curtain of Night in the Dark Lands and Tolkisson Mountain Range it casts a shadowy gloom is cast as the darkness retreats from the light known as “The Gloomspine“.
This has the effect of a creepy shifting and moving swath of shadows as the darkness retreats until the sun has fully risen. It has no mystical impact, the mundane fear and hair-raising is enough for most. The one psychological effect is that no one ever gets ‘used to it’.
