Faerie Burgh of the Steel Realms
In the early days of the Steel Realms, before the coming of the Blood of Saemon, most faerie and elven settlements were small Faerie Burghs, connected via Laey Lines. Soul Wells were rare and only found in Ynth. After the coming, the epoch of Celestial ended and power consolidation began which saw the rise of MANY more Elven Wealds of the Steel Realms.
Dream Fount of the Faerie Burgh
Each small settlement had a dream fount – a tiny anima fount that was connected to the Faeywyld via the Aelfpaths. But the Aelfpaths became corroded with the coming. The protective anima sources were too small to survive and the creation of Soul Wells and more Soul trees was required for the elves to hold on to some of their powers.
