Faet m’un (The Outcaste/Dark Rebels)

Steel Realms

The Faet m’un are a form of Faey, or fallen elf – corrupted Faeydark/Faey elves of the Steel Realms.

The great shame of the ancient elves that crossed with The Blood of Saemon are the Faet m’un. They are the outcaste descendants of single elven clan siding with the Dark Trinity in the original battles. Their society they see as part of a larger Underlands of the Steel Realms.

They are a society which dwells in The Deeping to hide from their land-of-light enemies. Over time, the Unholy Trio has become their official patron. Their true mortal enemy are The Edraim – who have a claim to the cool bliss of the under realms and are good and wholesome by comparison. The corrupted Faeydark/Faey elves of the Steel Realms that survive their transformation often seek out the enclaves of the outcastes in the dark, and become part of their society.

Faey elves become incredibly powerful, very quickly, twisting their powerful soul-gem into a dead one, an intuitive tunnel to the power of the void.

It was one of the Faet m’un that wrote the Song of the Black Faey to try and record the heights of their origins and previous society.
