Places of Loamwold
Loamwold does not have any formal “fiefs” and does not use peerage titles. They are organized around towns and villages. There is little strife between them, and managing the resources of their given territory is a communal job and baked into their culture and mind set – there is little real violent conflict except on the borders with Umbak, Dunstrand, and sometimes smugglers and pirates who wish to use their shores. The disputed
Hoolip Coast is claimed by the dwellers of Loamwold, and the druids of
Pranin Moorswood and other inhabitants there do not vie for dominance – despite multiple claims of “rulership”, the various parties ignore each other and get on with their lives.
