The Revenants Shelf – The Black Shore

This is a well known stretch of The Black Shore, where The Black Road goes through it. Off its coast has persisted a shallow shelf with many patches of eel grass. There is a safe place to est along the road on this stretch. There are muscle farms for harvest by the fishermen of the Barony of Lilymarch (though it is territory not claimed by either Lilymarch or Crestwold directly). Along the shore is a shelf 6″ to 3′ that’s 100’ wide between in all but 2 places. It is rich in fish, some crawfish, snakes, and muscles.

At one point there was an ancient Umbakian Stockade caravanserai named “Karlael” stood on a lonely point, about a mile inland from where the edge of the Black Shore is currently. It sank slowly, and was eventually inundated with mud and silt, flowing over its walls and burying it. It was used as a travel resting spot for a while by lone travelers, but eventually simply collapsed and sank and vanished from memory.
