The Vermilion Enclave is the home of Frostlock, an agent of the Lich Lords. It is a place of bright red blood and pale white ice. Magic powers the streams and fountains of blood, keeping it from coagulating but preserving its near-frozen temperature. This place is rumored to be the location of Frostlock’s strange and evil Mirror of Gathering.

Covered in Blood Fog:

Frozen Flame: Open flame will first turn blue, then freeze in one round. It will then explode and shatter into glass like slivers in a 5m radius. Magical light sources all are halved in duration and area of radiance and take a blue tinge.

Frozen Reveals: All attempts to discern/detect magic, evil/good, etc. will result in the a small amount of cold damage to the source/caster.

Shadow of Death: All Healing effects (magical or otherwise) are halved.

It is said he can move the enclave from place to place. It brings with it the cold of the grave and frozen north.

Uncommon Knowledge / Average Difficulty

Mirror of Gathering: Frostlock can project his consciousness into the body of one of the fake frost giants/Frostbodies using the enigmatic Mirror of Gathering. All the Frostbody Giants are exposed to the mirror, and he can mark each reflection and return to it. While projected this way, his own form is inanimate, though he can sense what is going on around him. He can directly control the actions of the host body he is in, usually coordinating others of their kind more intelligently than they could do themselves. It is said he can project the mirror itself, and when done, it shatters into a millions shards of ice sharp as glass and reforms in the Vermilion Enclave.
