Merkaine is almost killed, she violates the godspeak accord. Shemcee, the great pine wood spirit is killed. Darupets agent Colson Everstag is killed, several celestial attendants to the gods, and Whelm is somehow permanently wounded – walks with a limp, his left leg withered. The 12 Greatsmen of Gaia (druid enclave in the north), and a host of Klaurians led by their great-chief Barrod (“The Gorger”; known for his appetite) were all killed. Klaurians lost 25% of their entire population and never ventured forth again.
