Pervasive Knowledge / Very Easy Difficulty

The magus Shannustul the Explorer is an ancient magus from the eastern lands before they fell thousands of years ago. Shannustul is a dream sender for the High Motes of Radiance. He specializes in probability manipulation and the sending of omens.

Common Knowledge / Easy Difficulty

Shannustul was forced into a pact of 10 years with a creature of radiance. The sights he has seen have made him a little off balance. Whereas he was once thought of as a source of wisdom and a valuable intermediary for those seeking the Brightlands, now he is viewed with distrust and possibly a meddler in others affairs.

He traveled the dreams between the Steel Realms and the Brightlands and learned to summon and wield Mote’s of power. He was slowly turned into a watcher – to bear witness to the relations between the Brightlands and the Steel Realms. He has a Dream Tower of strange geometry and sizes that is made of dream-stuff mostly. Many mages and priests alike know the legend of Shannustul the Explorer.

He became a dream-sender in how own right, nearly a mote himself. With his abilities, he forged a ring of immense power the Ring of Shannustul. The use of this was imagined by a magus of immense power who sent minions (The Gallants – at that time) to take it. He did leave a personal message stating it would go towards the defeat of the cursed lover of shadows, Anwin, in the hopes that Shannustul would not pursue the party (it worked).
