PanGe’Diam – A Trip in the Continuum.

Pan Ge’Diam of the Ruined City
The setting is a highly volatile, chaotic world which pulls in characters from other world randomly in a flash and flicker of lightning. Time has very little meaning, and sometimes direction and distance too. characters adventuring in the setting can expect a wide range of technology, to see portions of other worlds – citie of glass, bronze, sand, and emeralds. Pan Ge’Diam in an attempt to stabilize itself, pulls a group of beings to its realm. Something about the PC’s may be able to heal this broken existence. Only the continuum knows what or why. It has been deemed necessary and so it is.
Characters Returning to their Homes: Returning characters to their original sphere, dimension, or place has some consequences. Returning to The Steel Realms travel drains a few things and forces the character to leave behind any material not from their home plane due to the planet Helca’s Equitas (order) influence.
There are few indigenous species to Pan Ge’Diam, and several “transplanted” ones. The Drow (Fey elves) come from another world, and have settled in the northlands.
Living Dinosaurs: Not all dinosaurs are “just animals.” Some species have evolved (or been uplifted) into hyper-intelligent, psychic beings. Their societies may rival or even surpass humanoid civilizations in certain areas (communal telepathy, psychic architecture, empathic governance).
Psychic Ecology: The natural world itself hums with psionic resonance. Even “normal” animals may have latent psychic traits (pack telepathy in raptors, herd-mind defense in ceratopsians, precognitive instincts in pterosaurs).
Correction Phenomenon: Random creatures from across dimensions are teleported into PanGe’Diam. They are “correctors” (see The Correction Mechanism of PanGe’Diam) summoned by the plane itself—or some higher power—to fix perceived imbalances. These arrivals could be allies, invaders, or bizarre entities that further destabilize the world.
