The Book of Elden Vale Familiars was given to Talisen by Bella in mid CY 9168. The text is written in new looking ink and its bindings appear fresh – but everything that came from the hidden library in Torrelson’s Ford was preserved and looks like new since it was stored. It is embossed with the name “Book of Elden Vale Familiars” in golden gilt on the cover.
Bella’s words on a piece of paper in the front cover: “It is strange, I grant you. Archaic… and seems to be specific to the region, but I’m sure you will find it useful.”
Written in archaic Gladnorean. It talks of a specific moonrise and latitude marker and description of a rock formation in Crestwold. There is a new map along with it, signed by Bella “no longer the green lady”. The map is small, and covered in resin, making it stiff. The materials are incredibly well made – it is obvious it was made to withstand the elements better than most books. Perhaps this is due to its nature to summoning outdoors.
Item Powers (common and Attuned) can be found under Common Knowledge tab.
