Neophyte/Newby

The “newby” is just a character lacking much real experience. New players and those wanting a good challenge with absolute maximized character development (i.e. starting them off without much ability) should make a Newby character. These are assumed to have little training and are young and inexperienced. It does not reflect their intelligence, stamina, or strength of character – these characters are powerful enough to survive as starting characters.

The Story of Morgan Ironwolf

Origin Character Chronicles and Chronicle Story Rewards are generally not compatible with the neophyte restrictions and maximum character development arc of Best Practice guidelines. The limited starting measures (2 base levels/measures) for characters made using Best Practice generally prohibits any element of Origin Character Chronicles being used other than Upbringing Experiences.

Common Impact: Starts with one LESS available Milieu Measure for Experiences.
