The Dragon Brothers of Whelm (sect)
The Dragon Brothers of Whelm are a sect of Whelm (the protector/defender), part of the Lightbringer pantheon. They only exist in Six Spires Pass and have been serving there since CY 7014. In CY 7010, the founder of the order, Sir Morgan of Gladnor, discovered the remains of a dragon while exploring the peaks outside of his service in the Realms Levy. From these remains, the greyed and deteriorated scales he found were infused with the light of the Lightbringers and he wore the gleaming bronze coat with pride, inspiring courage in his wake. Many chose to follow him in his years of service, and a sect was built up around it. The suit of dragon scale is a relic now, fading in its power, but still touched by each member before they set out for battle in the pass. They train wearing scale mail replicas of the original suit, and some say they have a special style of combat that makes the best use of its properties – knowledge they keep hidden and it may stem too from the repeated touch of the ancient suit of dragon scale armor.
