Dreamscale Serpent
The Dreamscale Serpent is one of the many Creatures of Chaos. The Dreamscale serpent is a nightmare predator of just about every plane, dimension and continuum. In the Steel Realms, they are well known to be one of the few things that predates on young dragons, though with the slow disappearance of dragons in the steel Realms, they have been seen less and less. On Helca, they arrive through the Valley of Sighs. A few times in recorded history, they have come en-masse, and plagued the land, though seem to prefer the climates north of the equator.
The Dreamscale is a chimeric creature, and its forms ripples and changes as it moves allowing it to move through areas where size small creatures can go. In the realms, it most resembles a 12-30m serpent with 2 front legs/arms and scintillating scales that twists and bends light around it so it flickers in and out of view. It leaves no tracks, or sometimes leaves tacks other than itself through its chaos.
