Steel Realms

The High King‘s Standing Army of Gladnor has 12 Legions. There are more smaller legions of irregulars and other troops – but the bulk of the standing army is 12 legions. The legions numbers are roughly 6,000+ men per legion – including cavalry, scout, ranged, and siege units in each. Benefits of enlisting include all living costs, all healing, all equipment + spares, kits + wages. They are stationed either in the field or use the Pacification Garrisons. Their wages are paid monthly. Service is for 20 years and mustering out of service grants wealth, title, and income. All take the Oath, but few the Sworn Oath of Fealty. An elite honor guard stands watch over the Heroes Hall.
