Creatures of Chaos
Steel Realms Creatures of Chaos are born of the rituals of summoning or through twisted experiments of natural creatures, these creatures are imbued with the power and deeply sinister aspects of the stuff of Chaos. Most of these creatures come through the terrifying portals in The Valley of Sighs, or were released during The Sundering/Bale Times; These have mostly been hunted down over the ages and few remain. Foul shamans in the Dark Lands, evil wizards and priests, and others seeking power have tried to bring more into the world, or even breed those that are left, but such things typically fall into despair and anarchy – the nature of chaos thwarting such efforts.
