Blacky: Wizard 3rd/Warlock 1; human male. A quirky and enigmatic figure, Blacky (he wears all black) is a member of an obscure magus order seeking to understand the gods of darkness in order to fight them better. He says he was sent by his order in Karolak to the north, to warn the Tide Watchers that “darkness is stirring again” in the nearby area, and to watch for its signs and fight with them. Strange, but seemingly telling the truth – though the wizard of House Malor that interviewed him said not to trust him, and that something seemed ‘off’ – though also seemed a bit jealous at capabilities his order was capable of that none others he had heard of. Unbeknownst to the group, he is a Acolyte (Magi) of Gloom.

6 spearmen (4 female/2 male – 1 is “Vitaly“) from The Saelish operating as Belvins Brace – a hireling Mercenary Company. They are led by Vaeyetse, a 27 year old woman with a 2 year old dog companion who was a hunter in The Saelish. Her and Erika have short bows as well. Spear, large wicker shield (+3 AC but no resilience), hand axe and dagger.
> Mission: (after Feather takes control) take car of fraud and deliveries, and ACTIVELY guard the villa – always have one person on watch of the front door.
Once Feather took charge, she pays the wages and pays for basic food and allows the use of local laundry and seamstress services in Autumnade (the small town nearby) with a monthly budget. There is a rum budget as well.
The Saelisnean mercenaries take care of the 4 month old dogs that Huff was raising. They use old stones from a crumbled wall to make a series of kennels along the east side of the villa. Wood is bought and a roof is made. A ‘small door’ is made so they can come and go into the house. This was torn down when Feather remade the villa into a keep. Feather used druidic influence to change the dogs as well. The kennels are now made of stone and have open areas and covered pens and runs, mimicking cave habitats.
