Drakkonia is the “first realm” – the first of the planes of existence created in the iVerse. It is a lost material realm, claimed by the Draconic species as their place of origin. Supposedly, the Firstlings used the threads and weaves of this realm in The Pattern as a template to make all others (beginning with Elemental Realms), once the Dragons had moved beyond this into the Dreamwyld. It is believed this is why the dragons have access to every sphere as if they were native to it, also including the Dreamwyld. Many have sought this magical ‘place’, but it has never been confirmed and its existence is only known because of the vague memories of the draconic species which have either mentioned it or had it documented in their relations with other species. Many theories and rumors abound of this mystical place of wonder, that binds all things with common ideas.
It is also believed that the threads of the Aelfpaths anchored this place to the Dreamwyld. This is the mechanism that allows the paths to travel between nearly all material places, though the paths wear thin when dreamers don’t connect them back to the material worlds.
