History

I was born into a noble family that looked down on any one not from a noble family and even some noble families too. I consider myself lucky that I didn’t follow in their footsteps, this is thanks to a group of friends that I made before I was even a teen and the personal journal and spellbook of my family’s founder. The books were hidden away in the attic and had been forgotten, there were many items stored there. My ancestors’ journal spoke about how he came from the common people and how a true noble should shield them from the evils of our word, and those with power that would take advantage of them. At 10 years old we swore an oath to make our own way with or without our family’s blessing in the case of mine, we became the Raiding Larks that day. When I left home for the final time other than some clothes and silver I had saved up, I took the journal and spellbook of my ancestor.

The Raiding Larks are the only family I have.

Adventurers

CREATION Notes:

Made in 12/2023 for 12th level adventure to be run in 2024 by Kelly Berger where campaign characters were too low level and were to be present, but not the main fighting force because Mendollin was too powerful for their level.

DONT GET ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS – THEY ARE SINGLE USE. Each player will create a PC of 12 total levels for fighting Mendollin directly; Using standard PLAYERS HANDBOOK classes and races w/some basic i20™ changes. Some may be more difficult than others to accommodate, but a single paragraph back story is all the GM will need to do to make it happen. The Game Master should not have to put a lot of time towards making these characters. These characters know each other intimately and should are nominally good – advancing their titles, reputation, and interests of the High King. They are heroes in the classic sense of the word and should be built to be compatible ethically with each other as part of The Raiding Larks.
