Dwarf, 12th level barbarian
A barrel of a dwarf with heavy shaggy hair and a close-cropped beard, Hulgrin resembles nothing less than a large bipedal badger. He was raised in his clan to respect the wilds they claimed on the city’s edge, learning the ways of nature and primal spirits native to the hills. His people are blessed by the Wildfaith, and tolerated, if not entirely respected, by their more “civilized” neighbors. Volunteering for the Raiding Larks company in his 40’s (an early teen in dwarf years), Hulgrin defends his found family with the rage of a bear and the wisdom of… a slightly smarter bear.
This character was made as the primary for the “hunt for Mendollin” in the Dunstrand Rising campaign.

Made in 12/2023 for 12th level adventure to be run in 2024 by Kelly Berger where campaign characters were too low level and were to be present, but not the main fighting force because Mendollin was too powerful for their level.
DONT GET ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS – THEY ARE SINGLE USE. Each player will create a PC of 12 total levels for fighting Mendollin directly; Using standard PLAYERS HANDBOOK classes and races w/some basic i20™ changes. Some may be more difficult than others to accommodate, but a single paragraph back story is all the GM will need to do to make it happen. The Game Master should not have to put a lot of time towards making these characters. These characters know each other intimately and should are nominally good – advancing their titles, reputation, and interests of the High King. They are heroes in the classic sense of the word and should be built to be compatible ethically with each other as part of The Raiding Larks.
